As of July 1, 2005, ISI Essential Science Indicators Web product data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 4-month period, from January 1995 to April 30, 2005. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 1,916 scientists, 242 institutions, 10 countries, and 45 journals that are either entirely new to the ISI Essential Science Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
