2007
As of July 1, 2007, Essential Science Indicators data were updated to cover a
10-year plus 4-month period, from January 1997 to April 30, 2007. With this
update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 1,649 scientists, 209
institutions, 10 countries, and 35 journals that are either entirely new to
Essential Science Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
