December 2002

As of September 1, 2002, ISI Essential Science Indicators Web product data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 8-month period, from January 1992 to August 31, 2002. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 1,359 scientists; 214 institutions; 12 countries; and 27 journals that are either entirely new to the ISI Essential Science Indicators Web product, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
