data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 8-month period, from January 1994 to August 31, 2004. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 1,635 scientists, 266 institutions, 7 countries, and 28 journals that are either entirely new to the
ISI Essential Science Indicators Web product, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
