2007
As of November 1, 2007, Essential Science Indicators
data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 8-month period, from January
1997 to August 31, 2007. With this update, the data pool expanded to
include an additional 1,745 scientists, 205 institutions, 18 countries,
and 50 journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science
Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
