As of January 1, 2005,
ISI
Essential Science Indicators
data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 10-month period, from
January 1994 to October 31, 2004. With this update, the data pool expanded
to include an additional 1,826 scientists, 207 institutions, 6 countries,
and 33 journals that are either entirely new to the ISI Essential
Science Indicators Web product, or new to one of the database’s 22
fields.
The scientists achieving entrance into the database with the highest
total citations in each of the 22 fields are listed below:
