June
2007
As of May 1, 2007, Essential Science IndicatorsSM
data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 2-month period, from January
1997 to February 28, 2007. With this update, the data pool expanded to
include an additional 7,555 scientists, 219 institutions, 30 countries,
and 100 journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science
Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
