PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Try out the State Indicators by installing the Windows program (interface) along with sample database. Everything you need is included here.

Installation:

1. Click this link to install the interface on your computer (this interface is compatible with all versions of the State Indicators as well as the University/Institutional Science Indicators). Choose the option "Run" from the popup window (instructions provided). We recommend that you accept the default directory location (be sure to make a note of the default directory's location). In doing this, when you access the sample database from the interface, you will find it in the same directory (*see below).
    
2. Click to save the sample database to your computer (be sure to make a note of where you downloaded this .zip file). After unzipping the file, save the database file in the directory of your choice. *However, if you installed the interface to the default directory as recommended above, save your sample database to the default directory. 

An extremely helpful tool is the User Documentation. It illustrates further the details of how the interface and database work together. It is advised that you and print it for reference as you use the interface and sample database.

After installation, it would be very helpful to you if you took a few minutes to view the quick start guide available in an Adobe PDF file.  Please note: this quick start guide is the same as  University/Institutional Science Indicators' guide. However, the interface works the same way with the State Indicators.
