TOPICAL CITATION REPORT
The Topical Citation Report is a complete inventory of papers in a specific field of the sciences or social sciences published in Thomson Scientific-indexed journals between 1981 through the current year. This report includes all standard bibliographic information and the annual and total citation counts for each paper.

FEATURES

There is a linked file of expected citation rates for each paper, based on the journal title, publication year and document type (article, review, editorial, etc.). Optional files of all Citing and/or Cited Papers may be ordered; these contain the same type of bibliographic data as the source papers. These data are not available to the public. Data for each paper include: all author names, regardless of order of position; addresses with separate data elements for institutional name, department, section, lab, city, state, province, country; article title; journal title, including volume, beginning page number, year; document type; category; and of course, annual and total citation counts.

FORMATS AND DELIVERY OPTIONS

  • The data are delivered on CD in MS Access format with a custom Windows-based, or Web interface.
